Mission

Mission
  • The Mental Resistance Lab is a place for practical experimentation into understanding mental states. The main mission is to help individuals overcome unnecessary blocks in their personal development by overcoming limiting beliefs, and to increase their perceived capacity to a level closer to their potential.

  • The MRL promotes mental stability, healthy coping habits, connection to others and single focus on productive endeavors. The main driver behind this program is to find out which ideas and exercises are helpful and universal enough so that when applied directly to people's lives, an undeniable change occurs with measurable positive results.

Architecture

Intervention

Architecture of intervention
  • Sessions: Time of personal and dedicated attention, focus on symptoms and development.

  • Modules: Lectures covering a topic that is aimed at igniting personal change.

  • Exercises: Week long activities that require energy and documentation. The most practical aspect of the intervention. Done individually, results are reported in the next session.

Process breakdown
  • Present condition evaluation: Mental health is evaluated through questionnaire #1. Documentation of early childhood experiences, limiting beliefs, as well as coping mechanisms.

  • Behavioral change is promoted by new concepts entering the mental landscape. Realistic and achievable goals will be established as well as a possible plan of attack.

  • Goal: To build grit and sustainable mental resolve. Development of a personal language of meaning and habits that are oriented at personal development.

Levels

Personal quest
  • Individuals are encouraged to work actively in order to develop self-knowledge therefore able to enact change. It is extremely difficult to redesign a life and the MRL expects that the individual understands this precondition. In other words, in order to come close to one's potential a considerable amount of effort needs to be put in.
